Trichy to get a Metro-Poshtel soon

Image

Quote:
Freshup, a Chennai-based hospitality startup has raised around ₹10 crore ($1.5 million) from Lotus Global Investments — a Singapore based venture capital firm. The money will be used by the company to strengthen its presence in South India.

The startup is also looking forward to partner with small-scale investors/entrepreneurs who are willing to invest in properties. Under the partnership, these entrepreneurs can invest 50% or more of the entire property cost and Freshup will hand-hold them for three years. Explaining this, Vinyl Reddy, CEO of FreshUp said, “initially, they would have a share of the profit and after three years, they would singlehandedly manage the property.”

Commenting on the funding, Vinyl Reddy, CEO of FreshUp said,

The company was founded by Pothala Vinyl Reddy and Laxmi Narasimha in 2016. It offers micro stay services based on ‘pay as one uses’ model at poshtels to short-stay travellers. The startup currently has its properties in Hyderabad and Tirupati.

The startup aims to cater to travellers specifically shoppers who require few hours to freshen up. The startup’s poshtels also provide safe lockers and food services.

It has plans to roll-out Freshup services across the country within two years.

]The upcoming properties in Chennai, Coimbatore and Tiruchy will be based on the metro-poshtel model, whereas Madurai, Velankanni, Kancheepuram, Tiruvannamalai and Shirdi will be based on the pilgrim centres model.

The Hindu Property Plus Living Spaces expo is on

There are indications that all talk of slowdown in construction sector may not be relevant in Tiruchi district.

Proprietors of firms that have put up stalls at the The Hindu Property Plus Living Spaces in association with The Hindu Tamil Sondha Veedu that was inaugurated at the Indian Medical Association Hall were unanimous in their observation that the district is unconnected with the boom and doom scenario of real estate market, going by the parameter of demand.

Since the bulk of home buyers in Tiruchi district constitute businessmen, bank employees and college professors, builders have not been affected by the trend elsewhere, according to T.V. Anand, Managing Partner, Manghalam Estates.

Buyers have options to settle for houses suiting varied budgets, Fiaz Ahmed Khan, Manager - Administration, South India Private Shelters Pvt. Ltd., said.

The participants comprise CS Housing, South India Shelters, Ponni Delta, Adhithyaa Constructions, Navaneetha Property developers, Royal Shelter, Manghalam Properties, Godrej Interio, and Grahasree. The SBI has put up a stall to provide details of home loans for prospective customers.

Property show

Image

People looking to buy their dream houses could make informed choices this weekend. The Hindu Property Plus Living Spaces 2017, a property show, organised in association with The Hindu Tamil Sondha Veedhu, would make its debut in the city on September 30.

The two-day fair, to be held at the Indian Medical Association Hall on Salai Road, would showcase an array of options for buyers, right from budget homes and apartments to luxury villas and bungalows.

The event would bring under single roof several property developers and premium brands.

Visitors can connect with financial institutions and bankers at one-on-one sessions.

They can also get a primer on upcoming and existing projects, meet experts for personalised solutions and check out financial options. The property show, powered by SBI Home Loans, would be open on from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. on both days.
